Top pick: #5 (SOUTH SOUND) (6-5) - The probable favorite, grey filly chased a wire-to-wire winner before tiring here sprinting on the grass May 4th. It was her first since coming here from Santa Anita and she was claimed that afternoon by Jay Servis for $32K. New barn switches her back to the dirt and drops her a bit in price off almost a 6-week freshening. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #7 (Da Wildcat Girl) (5-1) - Lightly-raced filly ran evenly here at this trip when facing tougher on May 21st. It was her first since May 21st and owner/trainer Steve Klesaris brings her back quickly and drops her down in class. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #1 (Lady Luciano) (3-1) - Speed/stalker has been freshened up since late April and runs today off a trainer change to Rudy Rodriguez (27% with new arrivals). Fits with her best and it's of note that John Velazquez is aboard in her come-backer.

4th pick: #3 (Cajun Wedding) (8-1) - Improving and well-bred, daughter of "Broken Vow" takes on winners for the first time following a sharp maiden win here on a sloppy surface just eight days ago. Don't just dismiss.
