Top pick: #3 (DREAMING AS ALWAYS) (2-1) - Lightly raced home bred ran evenly here at this level going a mile June 19. She had been much sharper in all her starts 4-2-1-1 and trainer Chris Clement has J.J.Castellano aboard for the first time. Stalker should rebound in this spot.
2nd pick: #7 (Graceful Gal) (8-5) - The morning line favorite, stalker draws a nice outside post and last out ran 3rd here at this level. 4yo by 'Curlin' was 3-lengths better than 'Dreaming As Always' that afternoon and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Take It Inside) (9-2) - Speedy mare ships up from Laurel where she was an easy wire-to-wire winner going a mile on the dirt in a low-level starter-allowance. Most of her success has come on the grass and 6yo has been competitive on NYRA tracks in the past.
4th pick: #6 (Life's a Stage) (8-1) - 5yo missed by a 'neck' here facing 'open' $35K 3l foes on the grass June 17. It was her first back off a 7-month layoff and strong finisher would love a fast/and or contested pace to develop. If not, a small slice is her ceiling.
