Top pick: #3 (TORDITA) (5-2) - Filly stretches out in distance after rallying to finish a distant second here at this tag going 6.5-furlongs on June 28. Nice effort, and she gets some weight off today with apprentice Rice taking over the riding duties.
2nd pick: #2 (Pitched) (2-1) - Barn (Leah Gyarmati) has had a career best meet (22-7-2-2), and she sends out this filly off a 2 1/2 month break while taking a big drop in class. Trainer won with a similar looking drop down two weeks ago, and this $90K yearling by "Elusive Quality" must be considered a win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Kevin's Kool Kat) (3-1) - Filly raced evenly last out facing tougher on the grass, is switching back to the dirt, and dropping back down. She's finished second in six of nine races on the main track and is 3-0-2-0 locally. She has more speed than most and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Quality Legend) (6-1) - Nicely bred filly drops down, goes turf to dirt, and is stretching out in distance. She worked well here on July 5 and should show whatever ability she has against this crew.
