Top pick: #4 (RUTHIE BLUE EYES) (3-1) - Filly raced wide while close before tiring here when facing special weights at this mile distance June 16th. It was her first since early Nov. and it's nice to see her come back in four weeks. Trainer and part owner John Kimmel has worked her twice since and drops this $250K 2-year-old purchase down to run for a $50K tag. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Galway) (8-1) - Price play rallied to finish fourth when debuting here in a 6-furlong grass sprint for a $25K tag on June 22nd. Claimed that day by the leading trainer at this meet (Dave Jacobson), he raises her up in price and stretches her out to a mile. Dangerous and at square odds.
3rd pick: #1 (Quintile) (8-1) - Daughter of turf sire "Langfuhr" finished second on this course, going 6 furlongs April 27th and was claimed that afternoon by Bruce Levine. Filly had a troubled trip when rallying to finish fourth at this tag on May 23rd in her first for the new barn and has been freshened up for the past seven weeks. Can impact if ready at a nice price.
4th pick: #2 (Judy G) (7-2) - She's one of two entered by trainedr Barclay Tagg and the pair race uncoupled. Filly has disappointed a number of times and runs today off a seven week vacation. Capable, and she has several races in her past that make her dangerous if repeatable.
