Top pick: #1 (LADY LAVERY) (5-2) - Darley home bred has excellent early speed and tired here last out at this level and distance after setting a pressured pace until the final furlong. Daughter of "Elusive Quality" missed by a "neck" in her previous start at Aqueduct and has a pair of sharp works heading into this.
2nd pick: #3 (Striking Style) (10-1) - Price play ships up from Delaware Park where she finished third in a contest that was switched to the main track. It was an encouraging effort off a 7 1/2 month layoff and this filly by "Smart Strike" showed some ability last year racing on the grass.
3rd pick: #4 (Guilty Verdict) (3-1) - Phipp's home bred hasn't seen action since last Sept. Daughter of "Medaglia d'Oro" finished second in her debut at Saratoga on August 4th, then tired badly here six weeks later. Working nicely for her return, lasix is added and she's racing on the grass for the first time.
4th pick: #2 (Silverama) (5-1) - She rallied from 20 lengths behind to finish second of 10, beaten a length when debuting here for a $40K tag on May 15th. Claimed that day by Leah Gyarmati, she has the filly working well and moving up in class.
