Top pick: #6 (WILLCOX INN) - Lightly-raced colt has shown quality from the start when he rallied to win his debut here in a switched contest last Sept., leaving this year's Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Animal Kingdom in his wake. He hasn't won since but they've all come in important stakes, including a close-up finish last Nov at Churchill in the G2 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. Working fast for this, presumably with the blinkers on that he'll wear this afternoon. The top pick.
2nd pick: #4 (Suntracer) - Improving son of the grass loving "Kitten's Joy" he's won three times on the turf including a quality win last out in an allowance at Keeneland. In the barn of Chris Block and a win threat at a nice price.
3rd pick: #2 (Crimson Knight) - Versatile runner has the best early speed and is training fast since coming north from Tampa Bay Downs. He just missed in the G2 Tampa Bay Derby March 12th and came back with a good-looking win on the grass there April 17th. His speed makes him dangerous.
4th pick: #11 (Twojohnsandajack) - Colt by "Malibu Moon" like grass racing and has a very strong closing kick. In a good barn (Eddie Kenneally) and he would love a fast/contested pace to develop.
