Top pick: #3 (BREWMISTRESS) - Price play exits the same last race common to several others, and although finishing right behind them she has some positives in her favor. Home-bred filly by "Milwaukee Brew" had a tough post (10th of 11), raced wide through-out, and after making a bid turning for home she checked in 6th, beaten just two lengths. 3-year-old has a fine work since, draws a better post, and can be effective at a square price.
2nd pick: #8 (Love Thy Neighbor) - The probable favorite, she set the pace in the same race as "Mistress" and held stubbornly to finish third, beaten less than a length. Much improved since coming back from a 5-month layoff and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Somali Byrd) - She rallied late to finish second in the same race as the top two picks. Filly was able to save ground early before making a late run. Moves off the inside and should factor again in this spot.
