(# 1) LETHIMTHINKHESBOSS - A difficult race to be sure, this horse is quite interesting, only because of the presence of his entrymate Mr. Malaprop. On Jan. 31 "Boss," ran well despite being forced to close into ordinary fractions on an inside speed-biased track. Think his entrymate is in to ensure a good pace scenario for him. Since winning for $35k in July, Levine has protected runner, and does so again today, indicating his horse is doing fine. This race does set up nicely for him, although the presence of Mike Smith is no longer considered a positive, although he seems to ride this horse well. Only off-the-board-finish for these connections came in a grass race.
