Made a strong middle into a good pace around the far turn and continued on gamely to win edging clear. Takes the next logical step up the class level and he is definitely not encountering any world beaters here. Meets a field lacking much in the way of early speed. Should be a forward factor from the outset from his rail post while cutting back in distance. Maybe primed for a career best effort and has since come back to work five furlongs since.

(# 2) Sahm Iahm - Improved third facing limited winners on the drop 2/1. Had been competing against open company rivals. Ran a good race despite saddled with an outside post over a speed-biased track. Should show more speed off of that effort, moving forward off that race and drawing an inside post.

(# 3) Too Drunk To Call (# 5) 6 Gun - "Six Gun," and "Too Drunk To Call," could wake-up with big efforts at a price for low percentage barns. However, neither inspires confidence for the win but a use underneath in exactas.
