Responded well to rating tactics when switched to Luzzi on March 10th off a freshening, and closed determinedly to eke out a game neck victory. He continues to have his races spaced well apart, but has worked steadily, with a near-bullett five furlong breeze on March 24th, just two weeks after his gritty win. Has a maintenance type drills since that workout, and draws a good outside post. He is 3 for 5 over fast tracks at six furlongs, which he should get today.

(# 1) Trailing Twelve - Gave ground behind a slow pace on March 24th, and then rallied strongly against a perfect trip winner who benefitted from the soft fractions as well. This is a class hike for him today, and he would need everything to fall his way breaking from the rail with a jock who is much better with early speed types.

(# 6 ) Run thru the Sun - May ultimately prove to be the speed of the speeds, and would be tough to catch if able to clear the field at this reduced level of competition. He sports many gaps between his races, which hints at a problem, and the fact that he loses Luzzi to the top pick is a red flag as well.
