AQUEDUCT Race #Race 2
February 10, 2007
(# 1) Storm Whirl - Tired late to finish second going a mile in last to hard hitter "Taking the Redeye." Drops back to six furlongs and the distance race should have him in better shape. All three lifetime victories have come at todays three-quarters of a mile.
(# 5) Strummer - Former New York bred stakes winner plummets to $16,000 claiming price for trainer Tom Bush. The reduction in value is logical for runner who has been running evenly in most of his races since last winter.
(# 2) Byanosejoe - Another former stakes winner who ran for this claiming price in return from a seven month layoff. Front bandages were on for return and no claims were dropped in the box for Dutrow veteran. Short price adds to low appeal value.
The Plays: $5 to win and place on #4.
$5 exacta boxes on 4-1 and 4-5.
$3 exacta box on 4-2.
Total Wager= $36.00.
