Premium Pick
(# 2) PREMIER PERFECTION - Lightly raced and possesses speed - a comodity lacking here. Has the hedge, is training forwardly, and is in the Pletcher barn. Serious threat from on or just off the top.

(# 5) Munition - Barn (Jacobson) has been on a roll since this meet opened. Gelding is used to running longer distances, but that is balanced by the tough open competition he has been facing. This is his first try against fellow state-breds.

(# 7) Dr. D.F.C. - Broke his maiden last in his best performance to date. Needs some pace help, as he tends to drop out of it early on.

(# 6) Beneath the Crown - Tries two-turns for the first time since breaking his maiden at Tampa Bay last January. Good series of turf sprints should have him sharp for the distance increase.
