AQUEDUCT Race #FOUR
October 31, 2007
2:25 PM Eastern
(# 1a) First King - Has been given five weekes between starts by the Jackson/Contessa barn. Previous three were pretty close together. Has two-turn experience, and has shown just enough ability to have a shot at a good price.
(# 2) Storming Off - Trained very well for initial run, but it's never easy to debut at seven furlongs. Stayed on well but was wide the entire race. Being by "Theatrical" the switch to the grass should come readily enough. Pletcher is 25% with second-time starters.
(# 8) Manitowish Ridge - Best race to date came around two-turns, just like this contest. Was in position in last but never really threatened down the lane. Obvious contender, but holds no real advantage.
