(# 1) STAR STUDDED - Short freshening (two months) should have done him a world of good. Threatened to get the win a few times but couldn't finish the deal. Several poor post draws contributed to his defeats. Coa takes over and runner gets to save all the ground.

(# 11) Dynaski - Needs a scratch to compete. Last saw a powerful late rush that just fell short. He's just now starting to come around after being stopped in February.

(# 4) Caught Stealing - Goes back to the grass after a poor dirt route at the Meadowlands. Late-runner has some pretty fair grass races to his credit.

(# 7) Mighty Thor - Last was his best in some time and it came at this track, level, and distance. Grass appears to be his better game and it looks like he's coming around. Barn has been heating up a bit.

(# 6) Hostile Takeover - Goes third off a layoff for trainer Rick Violette. Nice run in an off-the-turf event at seven furlongs last out. Has been bet right along, so maybe there's some ability here. Coa abandons for our top pick.
