Top pick: #7 (MUSKET MAN) - Lightly raced this year he comes here from Churchill after an even effort in the "Breeder's Cup Classic"(G1) wher he lost all chance early when he had traffic issues early on. Professional stalker draws a good post for his style and just missed on this surface last spring in the G1 "Carter". The choice in a very competitive (and good betting) race.
2nd pick: #1 (Girolamo) - He ran horribly in the Breeder's Cup Sprint"(G1) never involved at any point. That's the bad news, the good is that jockey Alan Garcia didn't ask him for much when he wasn't in a position to win and colt has come back with a fast work since. Coupled in the wagering with #1a Vineyard Haven and that runner also has an outside chance.
3rd pick: #3 (Bribon) - Professional "miler" (12-5-3-1) rallied from far back to beat a weak field in the G3 "Bold Ruler" at Belmont Oct. 30th. He likes this surface (4-2-1-1) and is working fast for this. No complaints from me if you like his chances.
