2nd pick: #5 (Alto Belle) (4-1) - She's one of two entered by Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. Unraced since breaking her maiden going a mile by 18.5 lengths Nov. 20th, filly has worked sour times this month at Belmont in preparation for her return. An obvious threat.
3rd pick: #3 (Lost Raven) (5-1) - The second of the Pletcher fillies, she brings the best early speed to the party. Daughter of 'Uncle Mo' ships back from Laurel where she finished 2nd as the heavy favorite in a $75K sprint stakes Jan. 16th. Barn brings her back quickly, and she's a threat to 'steal' this on the front end.
4th pick: #1 (Flora Dora) (3-1) - No speed type makes her seasonal debut after a productive 2yo season. Stretch runner just missed in the G3 Tempted Stakes Nov. 4th, then rallied to check in 4th in the Demoiselle G2 Nov. 28th. Working steadily, she would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
