Top pick: #9 (PITCHED) (5-1) - She's gone 3-1-1-1 since returning from almost a three month break in early October. Well bred filly ships back from Philly park where she finished second at this trip on Oct. 27. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Zimbabwe Lady) (3-1) - Very lightly raced filly finished an even third at Belmont going 6-furlongs on a sloppy surface Oct. 16. It was her first since late March and a good barn (Michelle Nevin) drops her to a new low and sends her an additional furlong.
3rd pick: #7 (Absolute Beauty) (4-1) - Once classier type is moving from turf to dirt and taking a 50% drop in claiming price. She has some early speed and is racing back into shape following her return from a 3 1/2 month break on Sept. 12.
4th pick: #5 (Charming Eyes) (7-2) - Speed/stalker is dropping down w bit and trainer Rudy Rodriguez replaces Manny Franco with Irad Ortiz Jr. That move indicates he likes her chances and filly fits with her best.
