Top pick: #3 (SATIN SUNSET) - Filly finished a disappointing third at Belmont racing on a muddy Belmont main track on Oct. 4 in her second back off a 7 1/2 month layoff. Trainer Steve Asmussen has worked her three times since and Dominguez stays put.
2nd pick: #7 (Perimele) - Dangerous foe and the probable favorite, she rallied to just miss when debuting at saratoga for a $420K tag on July 26th. Solid effort and the Pletcher barn has given her plenty of time to recover. Working well and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Vicola) - Improving and lightly-raced filly by "Indian Charlie" rallied to finish third last out when facing tougher on the Belmont lawn. Trainer Linda Rice will drop her in price and try her on the dirt for the first time.
4th pick: #8 (Pegasus Diamond) - Longshot gets a big trainer upgrade today to Chris Englehart (a 21% winning angle). Daughter of "Holy Bull" has a nice half-mile drill Nov. 7 and can grab a share of this at a big price.
