Top pick: #8 (ATLANTIC DREAM) (7-2) - Filly comes off a career best when beaten just under a length racing at Belmont on Oct. 5. Nice effort came in her second back off an eight month break and Todd Pletcher will add blinkers. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Poster Girl) (4-1) - Daughter of "War Front" has finished second in three straight and was a 1/2 length better than "Atlantic" last out at Belmont. She has fine positional speed, draws a nice inside post, and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Hummingbird Hill) (12-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Tapit" cost $575K as a yearling and comes off a fine third-plae finish at belmont on Oct. 25. By far her best yet and trainer Bill Mott has her moving in the right direction.
4th pick: #9 (Magical World) (12-1) - Longshot has some early speed, is beautifully-bred, lightly raced, and a factor at a big price.
5th pick: #4 (Despite Her Form) (20-1) - Daughter of "Speightstown" rallied to finish second last out for a $25K tag in her first start since July 26th of 2012. Claimed by Jen Antonucci on Oct. 4, she moves this filly back up in class. Don't just ignore.
