Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (GIANT ROCKS) (9-2) - He missed by a 'nose' racing at this level Oct. 19 at Belmont. It was his second start back following an eight month layoff and he's turned around in 24 days by trainer Mike Maker. Stalker gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Thenameescapesme) (5-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old is racing on the dirt for the first time. He missed by a 'head' going 6 furlongs on the Belmont grass facing tougher Oct. 12 in his first race since Aug. 4. A serious player if he handles the surface change.
3rd pick: #7 (Catapult Jack) (6-1) - Long time maiden ships back from Philly Park where he finished second in five of six starts. Speed/stalker was competitive here last winter at this level and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #12 (Pimm's Cup) (10-1) - Longshot has raced since June 12. He has some early speed, a fine outside post, and it's of note that Jose Ortiz is getting aboard. May factor at a big price.
