Top pick: #5 (CARJON CARJON) - Keeneland invader raced wide from a tough outside post there on the grass facing special weights on Oct. 9 and checked-in sixth of 12, beaten just over 4 lengths. Trainer Ken McPeek drops him into a claimer for the first time, and that's a 30% winning angle.
2nd pick: #6 (Fly Ride) - Another dropping in for a "tag" and this colt by "Street Cry" also gets the addition of blinkers. He's raced evenly at Belmont in his first pair facing better and the drop today makes him a win candidate.
3rd pick: #14 (Winston C) - He's the probable heavy favorite if he scratches in off the also-eligible list. Son of "Corinthian" has fine early speed and finished fourth last out at Belmont at this price after setting the pace to mid-stretch.
4th pick: #12 (Dendrite) - Drops, has some early speed, and trainer Dave Donk replaces apprentice Ortiz with John Velazquez. Colt by "Rockport Harbor" should be involved from start to finish.
