Top pick: #12 (SUMMERSAULT) (10-1) - Longshot has raced evenly in her first pair and last out checked in fifth of 10, beaten 4 1/2 lengths at this level going a mile at Belmont Oct. 1st. She was forced into a very wide trip and can take this at a square price.
nd pick: #14 (In Spite of Mama) (4-1) - "Mama" has a speed/stalking style and finished a distant second at Belmont on a "muddy" track going a mile Sept. 25th. Freshened up since, daughter of "Speightstown" has a trio of solid works in October, and is a win candidate.
rd pick: #15 (Tricky Zippy) (9-2) - Home bred by the reliable "City Zip" showed good speed in her debut and held "gamely" to finish a distant second when debuting at Belmont Oct. 3rd going 7-furlongs. She has a sharp half-mile breeze six days ago and should be involved from start-to-finish.
th pick: #9 (Yourcreditisgood) (8-1) - Price play has raced evenly in all four starts and is moving back to the dirt after a wide trip going 7-furlongs on the Belmont turf Oct. 9th. $75K filly by "Noonmark" has been in with some tough groups, and think she'll be competitive today at long odds.
th pick: #16 (Good Shot) (7-2) - Freshened up since Sept. 10th, filly finished second that day at Belmont sprinting for a 440K tag. Trainer Linda Rice moves her up in class and stretches her out in distance. In the mix.
