Top pick: #6 (HORSE WITH NO NAME) (6-1) - Price play chased and weakened while racing wide here at this level and distance on Feb. 8. He improved a bit over his debut and has had tough outside posts in both appearances. Working well and stalker looks set for a big effort.
nd pick: #3 (John's Island) (5-2) - Stretch-out sprinter rallied to finish second at this level going 6-furlongs on March 1st. Gelding by "Posse" is lightly raced, clearly improving, and is a win candidate.
rd pick: #2 (Shipwrecked) (3-1) - He was a "winner" here last out going a mile, but was disqualified and placed second for bearing out in the final 1/16th. He has early speed, a nice inside post, and should be involved from start-to-finish.
th pick: #5 (Alex El Guappo) (4-1) - Philly shipper is from a winning barn (Ramon Preciado) and ships off a career best when finishing second there facing "open" $25K maiden-claimers March 15th. He runs against fellow New York-breds for the first time, but has lost ground during the stretch run of all four starts.
th pick: #1 (Royal Posse) (10-1) - Colt raced evenly after a "troubled" break on March 1st and was 4 1/2 back of "Shipwrecked" at the finish. It was his first in 8 weeks and today he moves to the rail. Price play in the same race exotic bets.
