Premium Pick

Top pick: #11 (STARTRIPENTERPRISE) (5-1) - Gelding was bet down to favoritism when debuting here for a $25K tag on Feb. 9th. He broke from the rail, set a pressured pace, and held to finish second in a solid first outing. Claimed that day by Nick Esler, he's worked him fast since, and moves him up in class.

2nd pick: #12 (Bad to the Roan) (7-2) - Trainer George Weaver had an impressive debut winner here the other day, and sends out this 'firster" by "Smoke Glacken" out off of some solid works. Grey home-bred is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #7 (Four Directions) (3-1) - One of two entered in today's finale by Linda Rice, and the pair race uncoupled. Broman home-bred rallied mildly to finish third when debuting on Feb. 9th, and he had a nice recent half-mile breeze at Belmont. Trainer Rice wins at an excellent 36% rate second time out, and has niece Taylor aboard this 3yo.

4th pick: #3 (Southern Proper) (12-1) - Unraced since debuting at Belmont last May, he finished last of five that day following a sluggish break. In a very good barn (Jay Servis), and colt could impact at a big price if ready.

5th pick: #8 (Chase the Giant) (8-1) - Son of "Frost Giant" has a bit of speed, and last out checked in two back of "Directions" following a troubled break. May get a small award with an alert getaway.
