Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (GUICK) (6-1) - NEW gelding ships back from the Fair Grounds were he tired badly in a pair of starts facing 'open' company. He showed some ability here last fall and 3-year-old breezed a quick half-mile March 3 at Belmont Park. Has a shot at a big price.
2nd pick: #1 (Quai Voltaire) (5-1) - The main speed, he's dropping to a new low and breaks from the rail. Another NEW gelding, he should be involved every step and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (New Jersey John) (8-1) - Blinkers go on and he drops in class for his first back from almost a two month break. Well backed when debuting here Jan. 15 facing tougher, he raced both evenly and very wide. From a good Maryland based barn (Lacey Gaudet) and he's owned by Barry Schwartz the NYRA board chairman.
4th pick: #7 (Skeet Shot) (4-1) - Grey gelding moves up in class after rallying to finish second here when debuting against weaker Jan. 28. In a great second-out barn of Jay Servis (32%), and Irad Ortiz Jr. stays aboard.
