Top pick: #4 (SWIFT TAYLOR) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she rallied while wide to finish third here at this level and distance on Jan. 6. Encouraging effort was her first in a claimer and she should be able to run this weak field down turning for home.
2nd pick: #2 (Proud Parent) (3-1) - Mare finished second in late November at Finger Lakes, going two-turns at this tag in her first ever on real dirt and first off a positive trainer change to Chris Englehart. Working fine for this and she looks like the main danger.
3rd pick: #5 (Three Zips) (20-1) - Longshot hasn't run since late June, but returns with blinkers on and off a steady work tab. Can grab a share of this at a very big price.
5th pick: #6 (Nine Cracks) (4-1) - She hasn't improved at all since coming from Finger Lakes and dropping down to this level. Latest saw her tire after racing within range and she was 5 back of "Taylor" on the wire. However, she has more visible speed than most and blinkers go on for this attempt.
