Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (POWER NAP) (6-1) - Price play enters in very sharp form and is racing off a third straight claim. Son of 'Smart Strike' was an easy winner here at this distance racing for a $50K claiming price Jan 14. A career best figure was earned and he moved the barn of former Todd Pletcher assistant Tom Morley. New trainer worked him a bullet half-mile at Belmont Feb 11 and he moves him up in class.
2nd pick: #8 (Still Krz) (7-2) - Canadian bred ran a carer best when winning for a $30K claiming price at Gulfstream Park Dec 20. It was his first ever on conventional dirt after making eight straight starts on the all-weather surface at Woodbine. Sold privately after that win to owner/trainer Dave Jacobson, gelding finished 2nd here at this level and distance Jan 30. Dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #7 (May Be a Diamond) (4-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old broke his maiden here at this distance Jan 3. In his follow up start at this level, he finished third, just under a length behind 'Still Krz'. He broke poorly that afternoon, so the effort was a solid one.
4th pick: #3 (Rectify) (5-1) - One-run type is 7-3-1-1 in dirt sprints and is racing third back off a seven week break. He raced evenly here at this level and distance Jan 9 and has a pair of back-to-back impressive works heading into this. Stretch threat.
