Top pick: #4 (ROCK STAR ROYALTY) - Much improved last out in her second back off a 15-month layoff she was involved in the pace from start-to-finish and held well to finish second. Filly by "Five Star Day" can win this with just a bit more zip.
2nd pick: #9 (Mama Dukes) - She's run well in her last three starts, all at this tag and distance and stalker draws outside of the speed types. She should get a perfect trip from here with every chance at winning if good enough.
3rd pick: #1 (Straddler) - Well-bet last out in her first start off a 9 1/2 month layoff she "stumbled" badly at the start and raced very wide once in stride. Trainer Joe Imperio brings her back quickly for this and she draws the rail. Can factor with an alert getaway.
4th pick: #8 (Persephone) - Well-bet in all three starts she's had major problems at the start of her last pair and tired in both after rushing up into the pace. She could be tough on the front-end if she breaks cleanly.
