Top pick: #5 (PRIVATIZE) (3-1) - He's been competitive many times facing tougher and this afternoon trainer Leah Gyarmati will drop him to a new low in price. Stalker has a good shot at running down the presumed front-runner (Dapper Draper) turning for home.
2nd pick: #10 (Dapper Draper) (5-2) - Clearly the main speed, he set a fast pace and held to finish third going a mile on the main-track here on Nov. 20. Solid effort came off a two month break, he's worked nicely since, and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Moravitz) (7-2) - Freshened up since Nov. 1, leading trainer Dave Jacobson drops him down in price and switches him from turf to dirt. Has the rail and is a win candidate.
4th pick: #6 (Douro) (8-1) - Interesting price play, gelding is very lightly-raced and will be racing third back off a 2 1/2 month layoff. He's trying a two-turn trip for the first time and appears headed in the right direction.
5th pick: #2 (Muscles Marinara) (6-1) - Gelding was showing improvement until he "stumbled" and was never involved while racing wide last out. Capable with his best of grabbing a small share, and possibly more.
