Top pick: #5 (HARSH) (6-1) - He's very-lightly raced and will be racing for a new trainer (Jay Servis 27% with new arrivals) and off a seven week freshening. Three-yar-old has shown some ability and will be taking a sizeable drop and running in a career soft spot.
nd pick: #11 (Missile Nick) (8-1) - "Nick" is racing third back off a year's layoff and has shown early speed in both return races facing much tougher. Barn drops him down to a tag he's raced well at in the past, and gelding looks set for a big effort.
rd pick: #6 (Private Irving A) (4-1) - Another that's dropping to a new low annd this speed/stalker has tired in his last pair facing better. He runs third off a four month layoff and must be left in the win mix.
th pick: #2 (Acigarisjustacigar) (20-1) - Longshot raced evenly here at this level Nov. 9 in what was his first ever on the dirt. Colt could get a share of this at a big price with a bit of improvement.
th pick: #10 (Wood On the Fire) (5-1) - He enters off a career best when he missed by a "head" here at this distance Nov. 17. He's worked fine since and can factor with a repeat of that effort.
