2nd pick: #2 (Bartleby) (12-1) - Longshot raced evenly when checking in 4th here at this level and distance Nov. 13th. It was his first on the grass and second back from a 2.5-month freshening. Son of 'Lemon Drop Kid' as a ground saving post and can contend at at a big price.
3rd pick: #12 (Danny's Rush) (6-1) - He's finished 3rd in his last pair on the grass and has proven that he can pass runners in the late stages. In shape, but I would like him more if he had a better post position.
4th pick: #1 (Outrageous Bet) (15-1) - Speaking of post positions, this speedy gelding has had the 10 or 11 slot in three straight starts. Home bred moves to the rail and should be involved from gate-to-wire at a very big price.
5th pick: #8 (There He Goes) (15-1) - Colt sold for $175,000 as a Saratoga yearling back in Aug. of 2015. He raced evenly while wide when debuting in an 'off the turf' sprint at Belmont Oct. 23rd. Trainer Danny Gargan stretches him out in distance, and that's a strong 32% winning move by the barn. Can factor at long odds.
