Top pick: #4 (ST SINCERE) (7-2) - He's been competitive at this level for some time now and will get a positive stretch-out in distance for this attempt. Speed/stalker is in shape and leading trainer Dave Jacobson brings him back in one week and he wins at a 25% rate on these quick turnarounds.
nd pick: #1 (Street Prince) (7-5) - The probable favorite, he runs off a private sale annd does so for a new trainer (Randi Persaud). Formerly in the Darley Stable, son of "Street Sense" will be dropping into a claimer for the first time and does so off a two month break. Obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #10 (Muscles Marinara) (3-1) - He rallied to finish a distant second here at this tag and trip on Nov. 20 annd draws a nice outside post this afternoon. Gelding would benefit the most by a fast and/or contested pace.
th pick: #8 (Copper Beeches) (8-1) - Lightly-raced gelding by "Derby" and "Preakness" winner "Big Brown" has some early speed and will be trying this mile distance for the first time. He's stringing starts together for the first time and probably has more talen than he's shown to date.
th pick: #3 (El Dreamer) (10-1) - "Long winded" type is making his 46th start and has gone 31-0-11-5 racing on the dirt, and is 9-0-2-2 at this distance. May get another small share at a big price.
