Top pick: #5 (PRIME DEVIL) (7-5) - The probable heavy favorite, gelding has raced well in three of his four starts (all on the turf), but is coming off a sub-par effort on Oct. 20 at Belmont. Something minor may have gone wrong and trainer dale Romans worked him three times during Nov. Speed/stalker takes this with his "A" game.
2nd pick: #10 (Shy Humor) (5-1) - He's gone (5-0-3-1) since moving to the turf and runs this afternoon for the first time since Sept. 22. Gelding likes to sit about 5-6 lengths off the pace and rally from that spot. Dangerous rival.
3rd pick: #7 (Papa Tom) (10-1) - Price play has early speed and will be stretching out off of a series of four shorter races. He'll be involved most of the way, but needs to do better during the stretch run.
4th pick: #6 (U Whippersnapper) (4-1) - Lightly-raced gelding has been competitive in two of his three turf tries and last out he tired after racing extremely wide. Working fast for this attempt and must be left in the same race exotic bets.
