Top pick: #4 (SEND THE LIMO) (3-1) - Lightly-raced filly pressed a solid pace and tired late to finish third when debuting here in a dirt sprint on March 28th. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez has worked her twice since and will switch her to the turf and stretch her out in distance. Bred to do both, she gets a slight edge in a puzzling finale.
nd pick: #6 (Tizallheart) (4-1) - Daughter of "Lion Heart" has finished second in three of five starts on the grass and did so on this course at this level in late Nov. Freshened up since March 6th, she had a bullet half-mile breeze at the recently reopened Saratoga training track April 19th. Win candidate.
rd pick: #12 (Lloyd Harbor) (7-2) - Filly ships up from Gulfstream in decent form and the tag and trip fit for her. Daughter of "Langfuhr" is on the also-eligible list and needs two scratches to get in.
th pick: #1 (East Coast Express) (15-1) - Longshot is in poor form at present, but her best efforts have come on the grass which she's racing on for the first time since October. Has the rail and may grab a share at a big price.
th pick: #9 (Notional Girl) (8-1) - No-speed type is another that clearly is better on the turf and is racing for the first time since late Jan. Not a strong win threat, but a small slice at long odds is possible.
