The pair race uncoupled with this filly working nicely for her first since Nov. 13. She finished third at Saratoga in her only previous main-track appearance and can take this if ready.
2nd pick: #16 (Legally Bay) (6-1) - One of two entered by Finger Lakes based trainer Marialice Coffey and the pair race as separate betting interests. Home-bred finished second here at this level and distance April 10th and draws a fine outside post at this one-turn mile.
3rd pick: #3 (Baby B) (3-1) - Daughter of Kentucky Derby winner "Big Brown" raced evenly sprinting at this level on the inner-surface Feb. 7 when making her debut. With the untimely death of trainer Dom Galluscio, she's now in the barn of Gary Contessa. Working well and she's bred to enjoy this distance.
4th pick: #2 (Chrysolite) (3-1) - The second of the Donk pair, she rallied while racing very wide to finish fourth at this level going 6-furlongs on March 28th. It was her first since debuting in early August at Saratoga and it's noted that John Velazquez is aboard for the first time.
5th pick: #5 (Bi Light of Day) (15-1) - No-speed type was only 1 1/2 lengths back of "Legally Bay" last out and you know that this long-winded filly will have no trouble getting the distance. Stretch threat.
