Top pick: #8 (PRIVATE RELATIONS) (7-2) - Nicely bred colt cost $325K back in 2012, and with a pair of layoffs in his running line, must have had some physical set-backs. Son of 'War Front' ships from Gulfstream where he finished second in one of three starts and has excuses in the other pair. Stalker had a sharp work at Palm Meadows March 31 and looks set for his maiden win.

2nd pick: #1a (Fundamental) (2-1) - Grey colt was bet heavily when debuting at Gulfstream Park March 14 and checked in fifth of 13, beaten 2 1/2 lengths. He had some serious traffic issues that afternoon in a race where the winner returned to score again next out. Trainer Chad Brown wins at a 34% rate second time out, and this $225K son of 'Arch' is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Veya) (5-1) - Another shipping from Gulfstream, he ran well in all three starts there before shipping north. He's racing off 6-week freshening and returns a new gelding. Can impact at a square price.

4th pick: #5 (Balfe's Corner) (15-1) - Grey gelding is lightly raced and is another coming from Gulfstream. He ran both wide and evenly March 14 and was 4-lengths behind 'Fundamental' that day. May grab a slice of this at long odds.
