Well bet that afternoon and owner/trainer John Kimmel had him work a bullet half-mile at Palm Meadows on April 8th before sending him here. Price play.
2nd pick: #9 (Barzini) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he finished second at Gulfstream when debuting on Feb. 18 for a $50K tag. He's dropped a bit for this and $310K gelding by "Tiznow" is a strong factor at a short price.
3rd pick: #1 (Tally Stick) (7-2) - Like all runners from the Darley Stable, he's beautifully bred and probably has more talent thatn he showed in a pair of starts last Sept. in England. Son of "Street Sense" is working well above average at Belmont for his U.S. debut and trainer Kiaran Mclaughlin will drop him into a claimer and adds lasix. Win candidate.
4th pick: #3 (Unprecendented) (4-1) - He comes off a near miss here at this tag and trip on April 10 in his best overall since the fall of 2011. Can factor, but this field is much tougher than he faced last out.
