Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (NUEVA YORK) (6-1) - He chased and tired here facing tougher on a muddy surface Feb. 22. It was his first off a Dave Cannizzo claim and he's given him a 7 week freshening since then. Working steadily, he had a well above average half-mile breeze at Belmont April 7 and runs today with blinkers off following a one race experiment. I think he can win this at a square price.
2nd pick: #10 (Adios Amigos) (4-1) - Debuting gelding has a fine series of works on view with his latest four drills on the quick side. He had a bullet 5 furlongs March 23 and a very sharp half-mile from the gate March 30. He's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (The Grand Canal) (2-1) - On the sidelines since Aug. 17 at Saratoga, he was competitive in one of two starts there and is dropping into a claimer in his return. That's a strong 32% winning angle by Linda Rice and this home bred may go favored in this spot. In the mix.
4th pick: #11 (Suremoney) (8-1) - An even-paced type, he's dropping back down following a pair of non-threatening efforts facing tougher. Believe he's capable of getting a share, but a win at this point is not expected.
