Top pick: #11 (LARRY BOY) (5-2) - Lightly-raced grey colt has been freshened up since Feb 14 when he rallied to finish second going 6-furlongs at this tag. It was his first since late Sept. when he was claimed out of his debut by trainer Dave Jacobson for $40K. Working well, he stretches out to a mile and draws a nice outside post.
2nd pick: #7 (Keyaly) (20-1) - A very long time maiden, he's finished second or third in 25 of 62 lifetime starts. Some of his best overall efforts have come on Aqueduct's main track (13-0-5-2) and he could grab another minor award at long odds.
3rd pick: #4 (Unauthorized) (4-1) - Lightly-raced colt drops after going 3-0-1-2 since early December. Speed/stalker gets weight off and should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #3 (S S Dixie) (6-1) - Well bred gelding stretches out off an even effort at this tag going 6-furlongs Feb 27. He was competitive against tougher earlier in his career and must be left in the mix.
5th pick: #1 (Constantine) (15-1) - $200K gelding by 'Roman Ruler' has disappointed many times and has seen his form regress in his last pair following a claim. He has the rail and a fine recent half-mile move suggests that a better effort is coming at long odds.
