Top pick: #4 (KISSABLE) - Irish-bred filly by top sire "Danehill Dancer" was an easy winner at this demending 12-furlong distance at Saratoga in the $100K Waya Stakes Aug. 6 and last out she rallied to be beaten less than three lengths in the (G1) E.P. Taylor Stakes at Woodbine on Oct. 14. 4-year-old had a tough outside post that day and this afternoon draws a better slot and faces a weaker field. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Tannery) - Another Irish-bred, she rallied to finish third in the (G1) Garden City at Belmont on Sept. 15 in what was her North American debut. Last out at Keeneland she was never involved in the (G1) QEII Cup and will have lasix added this afternoon. Can impact at a big price.
3rd pick: #5 (Mystical Star) - She became a G2 winner at Belomt on June 30th and last out at Keeneland she finished a strong second in the (G1) Spinster. Lightly raced and still improving, filly has Dominguez aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #1 (Starformer) - Speedy sort spent the first part of her career in France and this Juddmonte home-bred finished second to "Kissable" on Aug. 6 and last out was three back of "Mystical." Working fast and has run well at this 12-furlong trip in the past.
