2nd pick: #1 (Justin Phillip) - He's been given some time off since a "troubled" trip at the Fair Grounds in the Risen Star S.(G2) on Feb. 19. He'd been in steady training since finishing second at Saratoga in his debut Aug. 19 and he's working fast for his first off the seven week break. In the barn of Steve Asmussen and Dominguez is aloft. The trainer/rider combo clicks at a strong 36% when teamed up.
3rd pick: #4 (Dr. Disco) - New York-bred takes a big step up today but has yet to run a bad race (5-3-2-0) and he comes into this off a sharp win facing weaker on March 17. Has a flexible style, is working fast, and he should be in this from start to finish at a big price.
