Top pick: #4 (MAN OF MYSTERY) (7-2) - Lightly-raced gelding by "Smoke Glacken" tackles winners for the first time. Three-year-old was an impressive maiden winner at Belmont Oct. 22 and he's since worked a bullet half-mile at the Fair Hill training center. There's several speed types signed on and he can take this from just off the pace at a square price.
2nd pick: #3 (Leroy Jr.) (5-2) - Very fast from the gate, he finished fourth at this level and distance at Belmont Oct. 25. He was bounced around at the break and did well under the circumstances. He's worked well since for trainer Chad Brown and this speedy 5-year-old is a strong win candidate. He should be viewed as the equal of "Man of Mystery."
3rd pick: #1 (Ke in Motion) (10-1) - He exits the same Oct. 25 race as "Leroy" and he tired badly after being bumped soundly twice leaving the gate. It was his first since March 1st and he probably need the start. A big bullet half-mile breeze on Nov. 9, coupled with the inside post means he's set fort a big race.
4th pick: #2 (Saltine Warrior) (4-1) - Gelding rallied to finish second facing "open" $40K 2l claimers at Belmont Oct. 22. Solid effort and he can factor this afternoon with a repeat.
