Top pick: #9 (PAPA'S NICE CAT) - He stretches-out in distance folowing a near miss at this level going 6 furlongs at Belmont on Oct.15. He's getting back into shape following a long layoff and the Chris Englehart barn has him set for a top effort.
2nd pick: #3 (Barrel of Love) - He's been at this condition a very long time but comes into this off a trio of strong sprints and this 8.5 furlong trip is well within his range. Big factor today.
3rd pick: #8 (Fortisso Mor) - He has a bit of "hang" in him as he hasn't won in a very long time. Veteran comes into this off a pair of narrow defeats at Belmont and a repeat of either makes him an impact player.
4th pick: #1 (Rudy Rudy Rudy) - He's the main speed and he draws the inside post. That combo is always dangerous on this not often used course and this gelding will take them as far as he can.
