Top pick: #1 (WON GREAT CLASSIC) (5-2) - Consistent veteran come off a very sharp effort here when he rallied from just off the pace to miss by a neck racing at this level and distance Feb. 7. That was his first off a Linda Rice claim and 7-year-old loves this surface (17-5-5-2) and he draws the rail.
2nd pick: #3 (Flying Zealous) (7-2) - Speedy and lightly raced, he's won five of his six starts and moves up in class after a gate-to-wire win here facing cheaper on Jan. 27. Home-bred should have the front again today and he'll be tough if left alone for the first 1/2 mile.
3rd pick: #7 (Isn'tlovejustgrand) (6-1) - Last out he raced evenly after being "bumped" at the break and would eventually finish 3 1/2 back of "Classic." Tries hard every time and can factor with his best.
4th pick: #2 (Verbosity) (3-1) - Strong finisher rallied to finish second here in a small field (5) at this trip on Jan. 19 in his first in just under two months. Lightly raced, working fine, and he should be much closer early on with a "clean" break.
