Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (EIGHTY THREE) (5) - Lightly raced gelding ships back from Santa Anita where he rallied to miss by a 1/2 length at this level going 6.5 furlongs Jan. 31st. He won here at this trip Jan. 9th and can take this if the back-and-forth to the West Coast didn't take too much out of him.
2nd pick: #6 (Angry Moon) (6-1) - Thought he received a poor ride here last out. Unnecessarily wide throughout, he was beaten by six lengths at this level and distance Jan. 16th. An easy winner in his previous start here facing weaker, he can factor today at a square price with Kendrick Carmouche back aboard after a one-race absence.
3rd pick: #4 (Maleeh) (2-1) - Lightly raced 6yo hasn't raced since late March. Talented, but very fragile son of 'Indian Charlie' has run well 'fresh' in the past, and it's noted that leading rider Irad Ortiz, Jr. is aloft.
4th pick: #1 (Monty Haul) (3-1) - Veteran has more career wins (10) than any other entered. He's racing first off a Steve Klesaris claim and for the first time since Nov. 10th. Speed/stalker has the rail and is at his favorite distance (11-5-2-3). A major threat in his first ever on the NYRA circuit.
