Claimed for $62,500 Oct. 2nd at Belmont, trainer Rudy Rodriguez (32% first off the claim) drops her just under half that price for this attempt. There are some 'red' flags waved, but she meets a very weak field, and should beat these.
2nd pick: #2 (She's Had Enough) (3-1) - She takes the same drop as 'Jetsam Six' and has shown early speed in the past. Blinkers are removed, and daughter of 'Stay Thirsty' breaks just of the rail. Believe she's the only danger.
3rd pick: #5 (Linda Nin) (6-1) - One of two fillies making their debuts, she's breezed a half-dozen times since Oct. 29th. In a capable barn (Bruce Brown), and this home bred need not be anything special to factor first out against this group.
4th pick: #3 (No Me Tocques) (20-1) - Trainer (John Mazza) has had some longshot winners this year racing on the NYRA circuit. Filly hasn't shown anything yet, but is racing second off a 10-week break, and worked a solid half-mile at Belmont Dec. 4th.
