Daughter of 'Stormy Atlantic' had a huge bullet half-mile breeze at Belmont April 12th (best of 83 at that distance that morning) and should get a fast/and or contested pace to rally into.
2nd pick: #8 (Shotgun Love) (7-2) - Speedy filly has blinkers added in her third back off a nine week freshening. She did not break cleanly in her latest and tired after rushing up to set the pace.
3rd pick: #7 (Women Win) (2-1) - Schwartz home bred ran evenly when debuting against much tougher 'open' special weights at Gulfstream March 1st. Working nicely since coming north, she's in with fellow state-breds in this spot. Barn (Mike Hushion) won a race this past Sunday with a maiden following this same pattern.
4th pick: #2 (Lilikoi) (8-1) - Another shipping from Gulfstream, price-play has early speed and figures that fit well with this group. This is her first against New York breds and filly should be involved from start-to-finish at long odds.
