Top pick: #4 (FLAT JACK) (7-2) - He's got solid early speed and has been competitive in almost all of his start 9-0-4-3. Colt tired after chasing the pace while wide here and held to finish a distant third on Nov. 1. In shape, he's gets a slight edge, but make sure you reverse your exactas.
nd pick: #9 (Flag on the Play) (3-1) - Lightly-raced and well bred, he's finished second in two straight and last out finished two lengths in front of "Jack." An obvious threat for the win.
rd pick: #3 (Aleander) (6-1) - Son of "Smart Strike" was sold privately following a solid third place finish at Del Mar on July 31st. One-run type is now with Dave Jacobson (27% with new arrivals) and this colt has run well on real dirt in the past.
th pick: #1 (Indian Brut) (6-1) - Son of "Indian Charlie" rallied to finish a close up third when debuting at Belmont. However, that was 14 1/2 months ago and he'll need to be sharp against this field off the long layoff to contend.
th pick: #2 (Seagate) (4-1) - Darley home bred has some impressive works on view and son of "Distorted Humor" is a major factor if he runs to them in the afternoon.
