2nd pick: #1 (Paz the Bourbon) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, she's moving back to the grass after tiring in a $150K stakes on the dirt at Belmont Oct. 2. Filly won her only previous turf start and was 1.5 lengths in front of 'Discreet Image' that day going six furlongs. Strong finisher has the rail and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Out of Trouble) (9-2) - Speedy filly tired badly in a $100,000 turf stakes at Belmont facing 'open' company Oct. 30. $75K purchase was an easy gate to wire maiden winner there at this distance Sept. 22 and is back in with fellow state breds for this attempt.
4th pick: #5 (Bree's Got Heart) (12-1) - Stalker is racing second back from almost an eight week break and is trying the grass for the first time. She caught a sloppy track last out and tired while extremely wide. It's noted that Jose Ortiz is aboard for this assignment.
