Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (SLEIGH RIDE) (3-1) - She's one of two entered by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and the pair race uncoupled. Filly chased while racing greenly and held to finish third when debuting at this level and distance Oct. 14 at Belmont. She's worked twice since and Mclaughlin wins at a 20% rate second time out.
2nd pick: #7 (Blind Pool) (4-1) - On the sidelines since Sept. 10 of 2016, filly showed good early speed in both starts last year before tiring. Heavily bet in both, she's training steadily and is in the barn of Chad Brown (25% off of long layoffs). It's noted that Javier Castellano, who was aboard in this 3-year-old's previous races is back aboard.
3rd pick: #4 (Tanzania Road) (4-1) - The second of the pair from trainer McLaughlin, filly finished an even fourth going a mile at Belmont Sept. 28. Race was won by stable-mate 'Tapella' who came back to win a stakes here last weekend. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Length) (5-1) - Daughter of 'War Front' is switching from grass to dirt and shortening up in distance. She has some ability and worked a near bullet half-mile here on the dirt Oct. 15. Can factor at a square price.
